Oh dear.

New Zealand’s inappropriately named National Democrats - neo-Nazi arsonist Kyle Chapman’s latest venture - appear to have given up, if a message on their website to that effect is any guide. The problem: lack of support.

Quelle horreur!

Looks like our Kyle will have to return to his search for hilicopter pilates.

NF - Who are they calling ‘terrorists?’

Why are the National Front opposing bail for those arrested in the recent police raids against people who have been labeled “terrorists”? Perhaps the National Front should take a look at their own organisation and those that have made up its ranks past and present. There’s a lot for them to explain there.

Lets take a look, shall we?

Kyle Chapman prepares for “Moari terrorists”

In the wake of 17 people from Maori activist and environmental groups being arrested in NZ recently for some sort of “terrorist” conspiracy, former National Front leader Kyle Chapman has begun organising public “meetings about terror Issues” with right-wingers around New Zealand.

Kyle wants to discuss “Moari terrorism and how we as a movemnet would react to it” [sic], and “police crack downs and how we can protect ourselves from them.” He’s put a posting, readable by all, on white supremacist website “Stormfront,” but states the meetings are only for those who know him.

Well, we know him. It seems a bit rich that Kyle is concerned about “Moari terrorism” (Note: Kyle’s not big on spelling!)

Let’s take a look at Mr. Chapman’s background.

Chapman fails miserably, beaten by a pothead and a communist

The Christchurch local body election results are in, and everybodies favourite fascist Kyle Chapman has failed miserably.

In the Mayoral election Kyle recieved a paltry 673 votes, putting him in 3rd to last place, and behind Byron Clark (from the Worker’s Party) and Blair Anderson (from the Mild Greens). For the record, ex-gameshow host and all round scumbag Bob Parker won with 46104 votes.

In Kyle’s defence, he did manage to beat a candidate from the Christian Democrats splitter group Future NZ and another candidate who has expressed concern that ray guns are being used to “slow cook” third party candidates.

In the Hagley-Ferrymead community board, where Kyle thought he had a better chance, especially seeing as 5 out of 11 candidates were to be elected, he recieved 1459 votes, putting him in LAST place, with less than half the votes of the 2nd to last place getter!

For the record, Jason Orme, who is in the same fascist party as Kyle, the National Democrats, ran for Mayor of Waimakariri. He came last, 4th out of 4, with just over 1/3 of the votes of the 2nd to last place getter.

First Christchurch, then the World!

You might recall that neo-Nazi arsonist and militia nut Kyle Chapman has recently had Mayoral ambitions.

The Christchurch Press held a Q&A session for all of the ChCh Mayoral candidates the other day - the video is here, and Kyle’s parts are well amusing.

Part 1 has Kyle answering a question about his plan (which he’s been talking about since his days in the Fascist Union in the 1990s) to have vigilante teams roaming the streets, and how he would legally do that (and give them police powers). He answers he’d use colonial law. When asked if it was still active, and if not, wouldn’t it take Parliament to reactivate it, he answers along the lines of “well, I think the Mayor should be able to do it.”

Part 2 has Kyle asked the question of the night - what would he do, as Mayor, to increase racial harmony and diversity. He gives a bullshit answer, talks about how he’s been to a mosque, and says he doesn’t think it’s a priority. Kyle has also been to a Marae! We’re not sure how reassuring his answer is meant to be.

Neo-Nazi wants to run C-Church

From The Press:

Former skinhead wants to run the city
By JOHN HENZELL - The Press | Wednesday, 13 June 2007

Former National Front leader Kyle Chapman is standing again for the Christchurch mayoralty, but on a platform that includes eco-friendly sustainability rather than forced repatriation of Chinese and Polynesian immigrants.

Chapman came fifth of the 10 candidates in the last mayoral race, attracting 1665 votes, but he was outpolled 30-fold by winner Garry Moore.

When is a fascist not a fascist?

Quite some time ago, FDB got a sent a copy of a booklet from the little publishing empire of Kerry Bolton. It caused a few smiles and even loud laughter before it began collecting dust on a shelf somewhere. Recently dusted off, we decided to give it another look. Bolton is an “old hand” of the far right scene in New Zealand and has made a career out of rehashing many of the same press releases and graphics over the last few decades.

But what of his more recent rantings? Well, for a mere $10 you can get a 44-page book titled “RED ALERT - Behind the smear campaign against Australasian Nationalists” by K R Bolton. Throughout the booklet Bolton tries to portray himself as a rather moderate right-winger, and constantly states that the various far-right groups throughout Australasia are the victims of a lefty smear campaign. The media have apparently been duped en-mass by this campaign and have gone forth to write endless articles saying these groups contain fascist, white supremacists and nazi elements, which in turn is what Kerry claims is what caused some people with dodgy right wing beliefs to join up. Yep, he’d have us believe that it was all a self-fulfilling prophecy. But we say bollocks! Those fascist, white supremacist and nazi elements have been there all along. And as Kerry’s booklet often uses the National Front to outline his argument, why don’t we do the same?

Details of Chapman’s Phantom Recon Militia are revealed in policy documents, photos and emails he sent to an anti-racist activist posing as a white nationalist.

Campbell on Christchurch

TV3’s John Campbell takes an interesting look at race relations in New Zealand paying particular attention to Christchurch. Click here to view the video.

For the Aussies out there who remember the days when commercial news and current affairs contained things like ethics and standards, Campbell will be a blast from the past.

Take note of the fantastic ChCh bonehead footage, including rare pictures of former National Front leader Kyle Chapman WITHOUT a pie in his mouth.
