Man admits racist graffiti role
Ryan PedlerA second member of racist group the White Devils yesterday admitted his involvement in a graffiti campaign across Perth three years ago.
Benjamin Weerheym told a District Court jury that he and several other men met Australian Nationalist Movement leader Jack van Tongeren and his deputy John Anthony Van Blitterswyk to discuss the campaign in June 2004.

May 16, 2007RIGHT-wing Australian Nationalist Movement (ANM) chief Jack van Tongeren wanted to take over Australia, expel foreigners and set up his capital in Alice Springs, a Perth court heard today.
Former ANM security chief Daniel Tyrone Klavins made the allegations while giving evidence today in the West Australian District Court at the trial of another ANM member, John Van Blitterswyk.
Mr Van Blitterswyk is accused of plotting to firebomb four Chinese restaurants in Perth in 2004 in conspiracy with Mr van Tongeren, Mr Klavins and a fourth man, Matthew Billings.

A guy who is now worshipped by swastika-flag waving imbeciles sourcing a guy who posed for pretty pictures in front of swastika flags and drove his mates around Perth so as they could paint swastikas all over a synagogue, a war widow’s apartment, AND the Forsyth Garden’s War Widow’s Guild.
Dear Ben Weerheym aka Aussie Patriot,
We’re very, very sorry - but recently, we misrepresented you on this site.
In this story, we reported that rather than hitting a War Widows Retirement Home, you had actually vandalised an apartment block in which a Perth refugee rights activist lived. We reported that that particular attack was, contrary to your protestations, completely deliberate.
Although you had admitted to your vandalism team ACCIDENTALLY spraying a War Widows Home, we assumed that you had gotten mixed up, as the home which copped all the vandalism in the apartment block belonged to a 93 year old war widow.
So, yes, you did ACCIDENTALLY spraypaint swastikas onto the home of a war widow.
But we’re very, very sorry for suggesting that you had nothing to do with further attacks on Perth war widows! God forbid you didn’t get all the credit you are due!
We admit it - We made a mistake.
Jack’s back! Yes, Jack van Tongeren, 58, has just a few days ago been released from jail, after having spent the last 17 months on remand in Perth. According to news reports (see below), van Tongeren is in a poor state of health and will spend the next 7 weeks preparing his defence against charges of plotting to commit four arson attacks, and 19 counts of criminal damage against a number of Chinese restaurants in Perth in June and July of 2004. Magistrate Robert Black told the court the arson charges related to four separate alleged attacks, carried out with others, between June 1 and July 16 this year. Mr Black said van Tongeren was accused of plotting to cause criminal damage by fire to properties in the Perth suburbs of Willeton, Karrawarra, Ferndale and another unknown location.”
The first most New Zealanders knew of Ben Weerheym was when he began trolling on the Punkas forum under the name ‘Thor Hammered’. He eventually changed his handle to ‘Aussie Patriot’ but as you can see on his Punkas profile, he still keeps the ‘thor_hammered@homail.com’ email address.
It certainly hasn’t been all smooth sailing for Ben Weerheym’s Redwatch Downunder campaign. With his picture display disappearing as the various stars of Redwatch invoke copyright protection laws and blogger repeatedly removes passages of his text that reveal people’s personal details, Ben is going to be hard pressed to keep his show on the road.
In a slight backflip, Patriotic Youth League have somewhat lessened their public support for Ben Weerheym’s Redwatch Campaign.

Probe into anti-racist ‘hit list’

From: AAPPOLICE in Perth are investigating claims a known associate of the white-supremacist Australian Nationalist Movement (ANM) is planning to set up an online ‘hit list’ of anti-racist campaigners in Australia.
Western Australia Police was today passed details of the Redwatch Downunder project, which anti-racism campaigners Fight Dem Back claim was being established by a former supporter of the ANM.
