Crazy kids and their intarwebs.

The Southern Cross Soldiers (SCS) finally make it into the papers.

(See below.)

They’re just like real soldiers (only not quite as well paid).

“Friends, today was an historic day, the day Australians stood up against state-imposed multiculturalism,” Darrin Hodges wrote on the night of the Cronulla riots. Accompanying his posting is a series of photographs he took at Cronulla that day, including one of a T-shirt emblazoned with the words “wog free zone” and another of a sign offering free sausages to the crowd, with “no tabouli”. Darrin also speaks of footage he filmed on the day which [FightDemBack!] believes was used in a video released over the weekend that glorifies a mob of rioters bashing various non-whites at Cronulla.

In his article (Victorian police vow crackdown to stop ‘another Cronulla’) Liam makes reference to a Cronulla vid (Videos on [SCS] websites glorify the Cronulla riots to a neo-Nazi soundtrack promising “race war”), which is presumably a reference to the vid Australian Protectionist Party (APP) members Darrin Hodges and Martin Fletcher helped to produce and distribute on Stormfront in the riot’s immediate aftermath. Hodges & Co. maintain that the ‘riot’ was in fact a ‘White Civil Uprising’, an opening shot fired in a civil war in which their side seeks to return Australia to its natural status as a 100% White outpost in Asia. While Hodges & Co. are based in Sydney, at the same time, in Melbourne, another APP member, Luke Connors, in his then capacity as spokesperson for the now-defunct ‘Patriotik Yoof League’:

…predicted further outbreaks.

“‘When you have areas which are majority Muslim, because they don’t tend to adapt that well, or majority African or Middle Eastern extraction, and right next door you have an area which is 90 per cent Anglo-Saxon, or Anglo-Celtic, there is going to be friction,” he said.

“West Heidelberg is a big one because you have a very large black working-class community next to a white middle-working-class community. That would be my best guess actually if it was going to start up in Melbourne.

“Also, out past Springvale, along the train line, there is that same sort of segregation going on, in working-class areas where they are competing for the same jobs and there is a high unemployment rate.”

Pressure mounts to block white supremacist visa

From The Age:

PM urged to bar UK supremacist
Paul Austin
November 22, 2008

STATE Liberal leader Ted Baillieu is urging Prime Minister Kevin Rudd to block British white supremacist Nick Griffin from entering Australia.

Mr Griffin, head of the far-right British National Party, has applied for a visa to visit Australia next month to talk in Melbourne and Sydney on what he calls “the demographic genocide” caused by immigration from the Third World to developed countries.

Mr Baillieu has written to Mr Rudd and Immigration Minister Chris Evans warning that a tour by Mr Griffin would pose a threat to Victoria’s tradition of tolerance and diversity.

In the letter, Mr Baillieu says that Mr Griffin was convicted in 1998 of distributing material likely to incite racial hatred, and advocates “white supremacy”.

Nick Griffin: In his own words

So… what sort of nice things could we expect to hear from Nick Griffin on his Australian tour? Here’s some stuff he’s had to say in the past:

On race: “Without the White race nothing matters [other right-wing parties] believe that the answer to the race question is integration and a futile attempt to create “Black Britons”, while we affirm that non-Whites have no place here at all and will not rest until every last one has left our land.”

On Nazi leader Adolf Hitler: “Yes, Adolf went a bit too far. His legacy is the biggest problem that the British nationalist movement has to deal with. It just creates a bad image.”

On Mein Kampf, Adolf Hitler’s autobiography: “At 13, I read Mein Kampf, making notes in the margins… I remember thinking, are the Jews really that bad? The chapter I most enjoyed was the one on propaganda and organisation there are some really useful ideas there.”

On democracy: “[BNP voters backed] what they perceived to be a strong, disciplined organisation with the ability to back up its slogan ‘Defend Rights for Whites’ with well-directed boots and fists. When the crunch comes, power is the product of force and will, not of rational debate.”

Neo-Nazis demand visa equality for Holocaust denier

From the West Australian:

Party leader’s sponsors demand visa equality
NICK BUTTERLY and ANDREW PROBYN

Supporters of far-Right British political leader Nick Griffin are demanding to know why he could be barred from entering Australia when US gangster rap stars with criminal convictions have been given visas to perform here.

As revealed in The West Australian yesterday, Mr Griffin, the leader of the British National Party, has been red-flagged by the Immigration Department and is not likely to be granted a visa to come to Australia on a planned speaking tour next month.

Islamic and Jewish groups are urging Immigration Minister Chris Evans to deny Mr Griffin a visa, saying that his presence in Australia could incite prejudice and violence against ethnic groups.

Visa ban likely as BNP membership list leaks

From the West Australian:

Visa ban likely for far-Right party leader

A far-Right British politician accused of inciting racial hatred is likely to be barred from coming to Australia on a speaking tour after pressure from Jewish and Muslim groups.

It is understood British National Party leader Nick Griffin has been red-flagged on a Federal Government alert list. The tour was due to start next month.

The theme was to be the “demographic genocide” caused by Third World immigrants.

The visa assessment coincides with the leaking of thousands of names, telephone numbers, home and email addresses of BNP members, prompting a spokesman for the group to warn it had “put the lives and livelihoods of fellow nationalists at risk”.

The West Australian, which has obtained a copy of the list containing more than 12,000 names, has identified at least 15 members of the BNP who are living in Australia, including two from WA.

Neo-Nazis want fascist visit… to prevent Cronulla Mk II

Bit weird, really, cos they rather enjoyed it the first time around.

From the Age:

Visa fight over fascist visit
Connie Levett
November 16, 2008

DENYING a visa to British fascist leader Nick Griffin, who has a conviction for inciting racial hatred, will only increase the likelihood of Cronulla-style racial conflict, his supporters say.

Mr Griffin, head of the far-right-wing British National Party, has applied to visit Australia to tackle the issue of “the demographic genocide … caused by large-scale immigration of people from the Third World”.

Darrin Hodges, the NSW head of the extreme Australian Protection Party, which is backing his visit, said: “Having a full and frank debate was more helpful than not … and suppressing the debate leads to events like Cronulla.”

He said Mr Griffin would speak at private forums in Sydney and Melbourne.

However, Jewish lobby groups opposed to the December speaking tour by Mr Griffin — a Holocaust denier with long-standing links to far-right-wing groups throughout Europe — believe the free speech argument has to be balanced against the harm done to local communities.

Scrutinising the religious and political right (Alan Matheson)

Alan Matheson, a retired Churches of Christ minister and occasional contributor to Online Opinion, has written an interesting article: Scrutinising the religious and political right (November 7, 2008). I know a little bit about the political (far) right — as Alan remarks, being one of, if not the only, bloggers in Australia to take note of British Nationalist Party fuehrer Nick Griffin’s planned tour of Australia in December — but I know less about its ‘religious’ dimensions, so Alan’s article makes for some interesting reading.

As Alan also notes, Griffin’s tour is being sponsored by the Australian Protectionist Party: a splinter from the Australia First Party, and formed in September, 2007. The APP has a tiny membership, and only a handful of prominent members. One of these is Darrin Hodges; others include Martin Fletcher (of Downunder Newslinks fame) and Mark Wilson. At which point, a few corrections are in order.

Muslim Massacre in the news (again)

On the one hand…

The Australian Government is passing the buck on ‘Muslim Massacre’.

Yes, Minister, it’s an offensive game
Brendan Nicholson
The Age
November 5, 2008

AUSTRALIAN Muslims are angry about an internet game in which players set out to “wipe out the Muslim race with an arsenal of the world’s most destructive weapons”. No one in the Australian Government seems able to do anything about it…

The game was created by a Brisbane man and was removed from his website after the initial complaints from Mr Trad about a month ago.

But it remained available on a Canadian website [that is, Domain Privacy Group, Inc., c/o muslimmassacre.com, 5160 Yonge St. Suite 1800, Toronto, ON M2N 6L9, CA, is the address given for the registrant -- the IP location is the United States].

Following publicity in The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald yesterday [Asher Moses, Muslim Massacre online game causes outrage, November 4, 2008], the game vanished from the Canadian site.

It is not clear, however, if there is anything the law can do to stop it reappearing in yet another corner of the internet.

Asher Moses (Tuesday):

In 2006, the Government was powerless to remove from the internet a racist board game based on the Cronulla riots. It was eventually removed by the US-based web host, Angelfire, following extensive lobbying by anti-racism groups.

Similarly, in 2007 a game based on the Virginia Tech massacre, developed by a Sydney man, was removed by its web hosting service after the Federal Government failed to come up with a way of using its powers to have the game blocked.

However, this sort of content could be blocked in future if the Government proceeds with its controversial plans for mandatory ISP-level filters of “illegal” material.

And on the other…

Downunder Newslinks

Poor old Martin Fletcher. His website, Downunder Newslinks, touts itself as ‘Australian News for White People’. There’s a shortage of news, however, following legal complaints by several media companies. Thus:

Downunder Newslinks has been attacked by the corrupt Mainstream Media within Australia. The media outlets do not want Australians to see the truth!

If you would like to help the Nationalist cause feel free to join the Australian Protectionist Party, or even join the Australian Identity Forums to voice your opinions!

Along with his support for the APP — he co-administers the Forum with Darrin Hodges — Martin’s efforts on behalf of the 14 words — “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children” — continue nonetheless. Along with his provision of a copy of the Muslim Massacre videogame, Martin provides hours of Yanqui infotainment on his ‘news’ site, including documentary videos on Barack Hussein Obama, Holocaust denial, David Duke, Stormfront and dead Nutzi Dr William Pierce (author of The Turner Diaries). Indeed, on Downunder Newslinks, The Turner Diaries, along with The Myth of the Six Million, The International Jew, Did Six Million Really Die? and The Protocols of Zion are all available to help White People interpret the Australian news. (Note that Brizvegas resident Eric Vaughan pulled his game last month after a media outcry, but has since placed it back online.)

As visual aids, Martin also thoughtfully provides cartoons produced by Tom Metzger’s White Aryan Resistance. Here’s a sample:

Darrin and Martin are Protectionists: they want to protect (White) Australia from Asians, Muslims, Communism, Multiculturalism, teh Gays, Muslims, and Asians. (And Muslims.) Once an admirer of Hitler, a Jew-hater, a member of Don Black’s Stormfront website and Dr James Saleam’s Australia First Party, Hodges has since been expelled from/renounced his membership of the Party (denounced as the ‘Australian Faggot Party’), denied his membership of Stormfront, made his peace with ZOG, and, presumably, learnt that public expressions of support for Mr Hitler are unlikely to endear him to the electorate. In other words, Darrin used to share Martin’s ongoing hatred and contempt for The Jew (the pair met via Stormfront) but in the last few years has transferred his hatred for The Jew to Islam.

“I’m more interested in the purer form of fascism… and while I don’t subscribe to the whole ‘worship Hitler’ thing, his comments on multiculturalism and politics in general are still just as relevant today as they were 70-odd years ago” he once wrote. On June 20, 2005, he added that “i cant say im into the whole national socialist thing - as far as im concerned, National Socialism died with it’s [sic] creator, not that i do not have any regard for his writings, indeed, they still have much relevance today - he laid a foundation that we should build on”. And just for good measure, a week later (June 26) Darrin further noted that “i have some good colour footage (no sound) of Adolf Hitler at The Berghoff. PM me if you want a copy of the footage”. (’darrinh’ joined the world’s premiere White supremacist website in June 2005.)

Still, that was aeons (three years) ago, and most recently Darrin has (re-)converted his website campaigning for election to Sutherland Shire council (Darrin got 333 votes) into ‘The Infidel Diaries’, from which vantage point he wishes to propagandise against Islam. Its true face, he argues, is Death, Terror, Violence.

Speeches along those lines will presumably be delivered by British National Party Führer Nick Griffin when he arrives in Australia in December on a tour sponsored by Darrin and Martin’s party.

Senator Evans on Griffin

This statement was released by Minister Chris Evans’s office on October 17, 2008.

All non-citizens who wish to enter Australia must satisfy the requirements of the Migration Act and regulations, including the character test.

The character test includes provisions to ensure that a non-citizen will not vilify, incite discord in or represent a danger to the Australian community, or a segment of that community.

Griffin has not yet applied for a visa. If and when an application is made it will be assessed against the character requirements.

The Labor Party strongly opposes the fostering of extremism, hatred, division and incitement to violence.

Thanks to Catalyst for this update. I guess we’ll keep you posted. We’ve been in contact with all the various bodies, including our friends in the UK Searchlight, and local multicultural groups, and the ball is in Nick’s court. If he applies, we’ll push to get it knocked back.
