The Hippie of Deception

…is devolved from the Bluebird of Happiness.

FDB’s immensely overworked Cam Sexenheimer writes:

Dear God, you made many, many hippies.
I realize, of course, that it’s no shame to be a hippie.
But it’s no great honour either!
So, what would have been so terrible if lying hippies didn’t email me?

Seriously.

As the main contact for FDB, I get so many emails that I’m going to get brain cancer from holding my phone to my flipping ear. Except that isn’t how email works.

Thank goodness!

Anyway, it’s roughly an 80-20 split between good emails (that is to say, emails from people who are down with the destruction of the White race) and bad emails (emails from people who missed a memo on 30 April 1945 – check your in-trays, you sillies!).

And then there are the hippies who think all these neo-Nazi thugs need is a good hug. To be fair to every single hippie bar one, there has actually only been one email like this in almost six years. I got it yesterday, and it is pretty stupid, so I thought I would share it with you.

University backs thesis on neo-Nazis

From The Dominion Post:

University backs thesis on neo-Nazis

A thesis on neo-Nazism and Satanism in New Zealand will be going back on Waikato University library shelves after it was cleared by the university.

In September, the thesis by master’s student Roel van Leeuwen, was removed after Kerry Bolton, former secretary of the Right-wing National Front, complained that it was substandard, despite the piece winning first-class honours.

Entitled Dreamers of the Dark: Kerry Bolton and the Order of the Left Hand Path, a Case-study of a Satanic/Neo-Nazi Synthesis, it analysed ideas published by Mr Bolton and focused on how neo-Nazi thought was repackaged for a younger generation.

Waikato University vice-chancellor Ray Crawford said the matter had been investigated and the thesis and processes around its creation were deemed to be sound. “The University of Waikato is a place of academic rigour. We don’t shy away from tackling controversial research.”

Facebook racist gets the boot

Terrie-Ann Verney, an infamous Facebook bigot and community radio staffer who was also an administrator on the rabidly racist ‘Fuck Off We’re Full’ and ‘Australian Protectionist Party’ Facebook groups was given the heave-ho by 2MIA radio within 24 hours after 2MIA management were notified of Verney’s online activities.

Griffith Community FM Association President Edna Wakley comments on the 2MIA website:

The staff and Management of Griffith Community FM Association would like to reiterate their complete surprise and horror that an employee of the association has been involved in racial comments.

It is important that people understand the opinions of Ms Verney were never expressed on air at anytime and the newspaper article is dealing with comments made on a internet site, not her activities at Griffith Community FM Association.

Griffith Community FM Association would like to reiterate that prior to this article the station had not received any complaints in regards to Ms Verney’s on-air involvement, her program content or the execution of her duties as a staff member.

Griffith Community FM Association is heavily involved with Ethnic Broadcasting in the Griffith area and is a staunch supporter of multiculturalism. We are proud of our ethnic presenters, their programs and achievements.

It is disappointing that this staff member’s actions could place a cloud over the integrity of this Association and all that it has achieved in Ethnic Broadcasting, multiculturalism and the community at large.

Ms Verney is no longer involved with Griffith Community FM Association in any way.

Griffith Community FM Association is a not-for profit organisation that over time has developed a good reputation within the entire community of Griffith and surrounds and remains committed to providing broadcasting services for and on behalf of that community.

Edna Wakley
President
Griffith Community FM Association

Racism is unacceptable civic conduct under any circumstances but it is especially so in cases where one has access to a community radio station, which is chartered by the Broadcast Services Act to serve the diverse needs of local communities.

2MIA management are to be commended for their rapid and decisive action on this matter.

Facebook racist is multicultural community radio staffer

We here at FDB never fail to be amazed at the sheer dumbness of racists. This particular one tried to lever her positions as a presenter and sales representative at a rural NSW community radio station to impress her racist mates by putting the in-studio photo as shown below on her Facebook profile page.

Community radio stations have a mission, well defined in the Broadcasting Services Act, to serve the diverse needs of their local communities. 2MIA FM has a strong commitment to multiculturalism and devotes several hours per week to ethnic programming, presented by volunteers from various migrant communities in and around Griffith, NSW. 2MIA management were as shocked as we were to find that one of their staffers was an administrator on the ‘Fuck Off We’re Full’ and ‘Australian Protectionist Party’ Facebook groups.

Soon after Asher Moses began developing this story, Ms Verney set about deleting as much of her racist tripe as she could from Facebook. She very quickly withdrew from her Administrator positions on ‘FOWF’ and ‘APP’. Verney was definitely proud to be a racist bogan on the world-readable Facebook- why is she running scared when the equally world-readable Sydney Morning Herald comes-a-callin’?

Racism is an unacceptable civic behavior under any circumstances but it is particularly so when one has been entrusted with access to public assets like community FM radio broadcasting.

Ms Verney attempts to excuse her racism by claiming she’s a ‘patriot’. Verney’s entitled to her own opinions but she’s not entitled to her own facts nor dictionary definitions. Verney doesn’t like non-whites and Muslims- she’s a racist and a bigot. Verney expresses her small-minded beliefs on those issues in the public sphere. That makes her a racist activist.  If Ms Verney happens to be a patriot, she can be that simultaneously, but being a patriot does not preclude nor excuse one from being a racist.

We hope that the Griffith Community FM Association gives very close consideration as to whether or not Terrie-Anne Verney possesses the good character required by ACMA for a person to be entrusted with access to a community broadcasting facility. We at FDB do not believe she does nor will in the foreseeable future.

NB: Many thanks to the dedicated denizens of the Australians Against Racial Discrimination (AARD) Facebook group for their assistance and support in researching this story.

Multicultural radio presenter linked to anti-immigration Facebook groups

Asher Moses

Terrie-Anne Verney

A presenter for a NSW community radio station that specialises in multicultural programming has been reprimanded after she was revealed to be an administrator of several racist, anti-immigration groups on Facebook.

Terrie-Anne Verney, a presenter and sales representative for Griffith FM radio station 2MIA, was the administrator of the group “F— Off, We’re Full” and had also joined several Facebook groups including “Stop the Islamisation of Australia while we still can”, “Australian Conservative United Party”, the “Australian Protectionist Party” and “Australians against Multiculturalism”.

In posts on the site she ridiculed foreigners who did not have a good grasp of English, claimed the Islamic faith was destroying the Australian way of life and said that attacked Indian students should go back home to study.
