From the AJN:
Third attack on Parramatta Synagogue
MARK FRANKLINPARRAMATTA Synagogue was attacked for the third time in two months this week when vandals daubed a swastika on the shul’s front door.
The synagogue’s Rabbi Yossi Wernick, who discovered the graffiti on Monday morning, remained upbeat despite the attack, telling the AJN: “Relatively speaking, it was pretty good, there was nothing broken.”
However NSW Jewish Board of Deputies president David Knoll said: “It’s very sad that yet another attack has occurred at this synagogue.”
Last month, Parramatta Synagogue was attacked twice, with vandals throwing cement blocks through the shul’s security glass front door and through the windows of Rabbi Wernick’s car and his family house, which adjoins the shul.
The swastika, which was daubed in brown paint, has already been cleaned off.
