We’ve covered the White Pride Coalition of Australia’s recent attempt to make their forum impregnable but it appears that keeping the thing online was simply too risky for them. That above URL hasn’t been opening for five days now.

FDB is rife with people who understand how this new fangled thing called the internet works. Here is what a few of our tech heads have to say:

Me thinks the DNS servers holding the SOA for whiteprideco.com have a few wee problems.

You might want to ring up Terence Davis and ask him what type of service level agreement he has with the mob hosting his hate site.

At this moment, it appears as though the DNS doesn’t know where to direct traffic asking for whiteprideco.com. This could be intentional- Davis may not have paid the hosting service fees- and this is one way the host could stop service until payment was made. It could also be an error in the way the DNS table has been set up.

Davis might also be moving hosts. If he’s moving, DNS might be a bit confused for about 24 hrs as all the DNS servers around the marble get updated to the new IP to go with whiteprideco.com.

I just did a tracert & a ping on the nameservers. NS1 responds to pings, NS2 does not- it is offline. However, NS1 is not responding to DNS requests. Seems like the backup nameserver (NS2) let them down and NS1 is crashed.

Did that make any sense to you?

Terrence Davis is of course the webmaster and co-founder of the WPCA. We wonder if he understands any of that as well.

If they pulled it, that’s a fairly major victory for FDB as they’re obviously not prepared to use the internet as a recruiting ground anymore.

If something else completely out of their hands stuffed up, well, all we can really say about that is ’sucked in’.
