Sydney Forum fail to get their NDP rep

One for the frudge, bro.
Confirmation was received this morning that Gert Finkenwirth, the intended German NDP rep at the Sydney Forum had his visa cancelled en route to Australia.

Thanks to Fight dem back, Finkenwirth was turned back to Germany whilst getting his connecting flight to Australia from Vienna.

According to one of Jim Saleam’s many alter-egos on Stormfront, the Sydney Forum now appears to be a home cookin’ affair:

Lightbulb Sydney Forum Goes Ahead Despite Venue Cancellation
A series of complaints to the Russian Club, which was to be the venue of this weekend’s Sydney Forum, have forced a change in venue. Headed by local MP, Virginia Judge, who complained to the Russian Arch Bishop. Followed by protests by various ethnic communities councils and a small minority of members of that club.
And backed up by SBS (who at this stage we don’t know if this was an active attempt on their part to have the Forum banned), contacting and advising some Jewish groups. The Jews told SBS they would mount an, “Anti anti-Semite” demonstration outside the Russian Club.

Darp’s miserable attempts to sway the lefties failed, as they have become extremely pissed off with him on hearing about his Jewish contacts, among other things. I am told that police had advised, he would, at best, have rallied about 15 to 20 people to demonstrate at the Forum.

Darp published a photo on his website, of the NPD member who is to speak at the Forum. The only problem was - He picked the wrong man. Idiot!

I contacted organiser, Jim Saleam, who told me that the Forum would be going ahead at his office at 725 Princes Highway, Tempe. And that any enquiries would be answered at: 0407732868.

THE FORUM GOES AHEAD!

The reliability of this information is still anyone’s guess. A number of potential backup venues have been floating around today including the Lithuanian Club at Bankstown, the Marrickville ANZAC Club, Marrickville RSL and Petersham RSL @ Newtown and the Estonian Club in Surry Hills.

Still, until we hear anything more concrete, the unofficial assembly point for the anti-racist side of things will be Jim’s bunker at 725 Princes highway Tempe at 8:30am tomorrow morning.

This site is a former retail shopfront, not an actual house.

Sydney Forum booted from the Russian Club

At present we are unsure as to whether the Russian Club booted Jim Saleam and his fellow travellers of their own accord or not.

Stay tuned

Stay tuned for possible venue change

The Russian Club at Strathfield has been subject to intense pressure from within Sydney’s Russian community over their decision to host the Sydney Forum.

Ben Weerheym to attend the Sydney Forum?

A number of months back, Redwatch/leftywatch downunder founder and Jack Van Tongeren associate Ben Weerheym declared that should he be able to save up some money and get his car fixed, he will most certainly drive across to Sydney to attend Jim Saleam’s Sydney Forum.

Sydney Forum location revealed

Ok people.

After much too-ing and fro-ing we have decided to unveil the location of the Sydney Forum. This is obviously something we’ve known for some time now and in the interests of preventing crossed wires and intentional disinformation, we’ve decided to go public.

Australia’s largest gathering of neo-fascists, neo-Nazis and general right-wing wackjobs is set to take place on August 27th and 28th at:

The Russian Club
7 Albert Road,
Strathfield NSW

The forum kicks off at 9:30am.

Whatever the various activist groups in Sydney choose to do from this point on is completely up to them. FDB has been proud to be of service.

What is happening with the Sydney Forum?

A bit.

It has been earlier noted on Fight dem back that German NDP deputy Holger Apfel was trying to get into Australia in order to take part in the forum.

Of course, Holger found better things to do and is no longer coming.

His replacement, we can now reliably inform you is the NDP foreign secretary, Gerd Finkenwirth.

PYL talkin’ it up!

From the Patriotic Youth League website:

Update
The rally may be held off until just before the Sydney forum. It is looking like becoming a national event with students from around Australia pledging support. PYL Leader ‘Luke Connors’ may issue a challenge of debate to Figh Dem Back leader Matthew Henderson and the pro multiculural student council of Macquarie University.

Will they accept the challenge! Let free speech reign!

That should be a question mark after ‘will they accept the challenge’, not an exclamation mark lads.

May issue a challenge? That’s us shaking in our boots.

So, from what we can garner from this post, the PYL have no idea where or when they will hold their rally.

Just before the Sydney Forum. Why that’s this weekend?

So, does that mean they will march on into Macquarie University on Saturday morning at 8:15?
