The Russian Club at Strathfield has been subject to intense pressure from within Sydney’s Russian community over their decision to host the Sydney Forum.

A venue such as theirs owes its existence to multiculturalism and as such is a highly inappropriate location to hold a forum based on racial intolerance.

Also worth considering is the fact that this year we commemorate sixty years since what the Russians call the Great Patriotic War (the Nazi invasion of Russia). You’d think that letting an actual German Nazi (Gerd Finkenwirth) into the Russian club to speak on issues of German nationalism would be a very inappropriate thing to do.
