Synagogue vandal and getaway driver extraordinaire, Ben Weerheym just couldn’t help himself.
A week after Blogger pulled down his Redwatch post, Benny has gone and wacked it all straight back up again (with interest).
Ben still maintains that his blog isn’t Redwatch/Leftywatch/Buggeristwatch, that he is merely testing the waters before he launches the mother of all gutless attacks on the anti-racist community by posting everyone’s personal details and those of their parents.
Ben claims on his blog that he hasn’t been posting the details of people’s parents:
The backbone of his crusade against me and the activity of Leftywatch is that I am supposedly going after relatives details and want to know about them. This is incorrect, these “non-combatants” as he and his gang like to call them are of no interest to me or the functioning of the group.
Note that last bit, Ben is functioning as part of a ‘group’.
Erm, then why has Ben posted the addresses of two different anti-racist activist’s parents on this current incarnation of his blog?
Oh, silly us - he hasn’t posted them, he has merely posted a link to the addresses in the White Pages. I guess that makes it all hunky dory.
Not.
Ben has also taken a peculiar interest in the place of employment of a Perth environmental activist by linking their workplace.
Now, over the last week and a half, if one thing has become very apparent to us here at Fight dem back it’s that the Australian and New Zealand neo-Nazi community are incredibly nervous about US taking an interest in their places of employment.
Don’t worry - as appealing a proposition as it is, we understand that Nazis on the dole que would mean that innocent people are likely to be affected. Being bleeding heart lefties, we really don’t want to see that happen.
It’s also worth taking into account the amount of people within the Aus/NZ White Nationalist community that have contacted us privately in order to distance themselves from Ben and his actions.
Unlike Benny boy, most of these people actually have things to lose and they are all doing a top-notch job of making sure that FDB doesn’t kick back against them for what Ben does.
One of the more succinct and mature responses came from the head of the White Pride Coalition of Australia, Terrence Davis:
I do not condone Ben’s actions of listing personal addresses, as it is something that I have never done in the past and will never do in the future, so before you go and publish a whole heap of addresses of people affiliated with the WPCA, I recommend that you think about what you are doing, as it is only a very small minority within the group that has taken that kind of action against you and they have done so without consent of the group…
I would still like for this to all end peacefully, but I am not really that naive.
I am aware of the boundaries and I play by the correct set of rules, as you will have noticed, I haven’t even bothered to contact you in the past, as I viewed you as a non-event… I couldn’t really care what you do or how you did it, except when it involves people that have done absolutely nothing to you.
Must be tough being Ben Weerheym. Half your mates are in jail and the other half don’t want to know you.
