If you’ve got a hit list, I wanna be on it

The race to be the number one enemy of the master race has begun in earnest.

Jockeying for the top of the Redwatch Downunder hit list has kicked into overdrive with noted New Zealand gay rights campaigner Jeremy Lambert putting his hand up for consideration.

“The National Front obviously hates everything I stand for. I am openly gay, of mixed Maori European heritage and have campaigned extensively for Human Rights. I must qualify near top of their list”, he said.

“There is a perception that gay and lesbian New Zealanders are running the country at the moment. The reality couldn’t be further from the truth. With every step forward we prepare for the “anti-PC” backlash. Recent human rights advancements in partnership recognition have been followed by a string of hostile attacks from both mainstream and fringe politicians.”

“My name is Jeremy Lambert. My contact number is in the phone book and I have some fantastic photos available”.

Jeremy Lambert is a former Parliamentary Secretary, Civil Unions campaigner and serves on the board of the New Zealand AIDS Foundation.

Lambert’s emergence has caused an enormous amount of tension between the Australian and New Zealand factions of Fight dem back!. Campaign founder Mat Henderson-Hau issued a brief statement last night.

“It’s hurtful. You put in all this hard work to be the number one enemy of racist bigots on both sides of the Tasman and Lennie Lambert and Neville Nobody come from the clouds to try and take your crown. I will continue the fight regardless. I too have some fantastic photos available. Some of them include drunken party shots with real live black people and Asians. I have a whole batch from post Mardi gras party as well, I’d love to see Lambert top that,” he said.
