As we hinted at last week, the Patriotic Youth League’s Stuart McBeth has stepped down from the leadership of the organisation.
PYL media representative Luke Connors explains that McBeth’s decision was made on the basis of his far-right political activities threatening his livelihood: “Getting fired from your job for your beliefs can make a person nervous about things like “rent” and “food”, he said.
McBeth’s position as a case officer for the Salvation Army was terminated earlier this year.
As with recent high profile retirees Kyle Chapman and Jason Molloy, everyone at Fight dem back! would like to wish Stu all the best for the future.
We hope that he tries to take a more balanced view in regard to Sudanese migrants settling in his home city of Newcastle and we hope that he puts his pointless past of race-hate politics behind him and gets on with his life.
We also hope that he has learnt how to read a train timetable.
